Walking
Start your journey at Orchard Road. Head east along Orchard Road towards Somerset MRT Station. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Bideford Road. Turn left onto Bideford Road and walk straight until you reach the traffic light intersection at the junction with Killiney Road. Cross Killiney Road, and continue on Bideford Road which will turn into Penang Road. Walk straight for about 400 meters, passing by a few shops and restaurants. You will reach the intersection with Serangoon Road. Here, turn right onto Serangoon Road and walk until you come to the Little India MRT Station. From there, continue walking along Serangoon Road until you reach the junction with Kerbau Road. Turn left onto Kerbau Road and walk for about 100 meters. The Former House of Tan Teng Niah will be on your left at 37 Kerbau Rd.

Begin at Orchard MRT Station. Take the North-South Line (Red Line) and travel towards Marina South Pier. Alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (2 stops). At Dhoby Ghaut, transfer to the North-East Line (Purple Line) towards Punggol. Alight at Little India MRT Station (3 stops). From the station, exit and head towards Serangoon Road. Walk along Serangoon Road until you reach the junction with Kerbau Road. Turn left onto Kerbau Road and walk for about 100 meters. The Former House of Tan Teng Niah will be on your left at 37 Kerbau Rd.
