Car
If you're traveling by car from Pasir Ris, start by heading southwest on Pasir Ris Drive 1. Follow the road as it turns into Pasir Ris Link and then merge onto the East Coast Parkway (ECP) towards the city. Continue on ECP for about 20 minutes until you reach the exit for Nicoll Highway. Take the exit and follow the signs for Bencoolen Street. From Bencoolen Street, turn left onto North Bridge Road and then right onto Sultan Gate. You will find the Kampong Glam Heritage Trail 01 at the intersection of Sultan Gate and Kandahar Street. There is limited street parking available in the vicinity, so make sure to check for parking signs.
Public Transportation
To reach Kampong Glam Heritage Trail 01 via public transport from Pasir Ris, start at Pasir Ris MRT Station (East West Line). Take the MRT towards Joo Koon and alight at Bugis MRT Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Bugis MRT Station, take Exit B and walk towards Victoria Street. Cross the road to reach the bus stop at the junction of Victoria Street and Jalan Sultan. Take bus number 7, 14, 197, or 961. Alight at the stop 'Sultan Mosque' (approximately 10 minutes). From there, walk towards Sultan Gate; Kampong Glam Heritage Trail 01 is located at the intersection of Sultan Gate and Kandahar Street. The total public transport cost should be around SGD 2.00 to SGD 3.00.
