    From Sentosa Island, head towards the Sentosa Express monorail station at Beach Station. Take the Sentosa Express and alight at the VivoCity station. Once you exit the station, proceed to the ground level of VivoCity and follow the signs to the HarbourFront MRT Station. Take the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) from HarbourFront MRT Station on the North East Line (Purple Line) towards Punggol. Alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. From Dhoby Ghaut, transfer to the North South Line (Red Line) towards Jurong East and alight at Orchard MRT Station. Once you exit the station, take Exit A, which leads you directly onto Orchard Road. Walk straight along Orchard Road for about 10 minutes until you reach The Istana, which will be on your left.

    Start from any location in Sentosa and make your way to the Beach Station bus stop. From there, take the bus service RWS8 towards VivoCity. Alight at VivoCity and follow the signs to the HarbourFront MRT Station.
