To reach Serangoon River via public transport, board the North East Line (NEL) at Serangoon MRT Station. Alight at the next stop, which is Hougang MRT Station. From there, take bus number 62 or 75 from the bus interchange and alight at the bus stop at Upper Serangoon Road. The river park is within a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, following the signposts directing you towards Serangoon River.

For those who prefer to walk, if you are already in the Serangoon area, you can walk to Serangoon River by heading south through Serangoon Ave 3. You'll need to walk approximately 1.5 km, which should take around 20-30 minutes. Follow the pedestrian paths and cross at designated crossings for safety.
