If you are starting from Woodlands MRT Station, exit the station and head towards the Woodlands Civic Centre. From the Civic Centre, walk north on Woodlands Centre Road until you reach the junction with Marsiling Road. Turn left onto Marsiling Road and continue straight. You will pass by the Woodlands Bus Interchange on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach Marsiling Stairs, which will be on your right. Look for the distinctive stairway that leads down to the park area.

From Woodlands MRT Station, walk to the bus interchange located adjacent to the MRT station. Take bus number 901, which will take you along Marsiling Road. Alight at the Marsiling Stairs stop. After getting off the bus, walk back along Marsiling Road for a short distance, and you will see the stairs on your left. The stairs are easily identifiable, leading down to a green space.
