• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start at the main road in Dawn Beach, known as Dawn Beach Rd. Head southwest toward the intersection with Oyster Pond Rd. Turn left onto Oyster Pond Rd and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Rhine Road. Continue on Rhine Road, and you will find Sonesta Ocean Point Resort located on the right at 1A Rhine Rd, Sint Maarten. Look for the resort entrance, which is well-marked.

  For those relying on public transportation, you can catch a local bus or minivan from Dawn Beach. Head to the nearest bus stop along Dawn Beach Rd. Look for buses heading towards Philipsburg or the Lowlands. Inform the driver that you are going to Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. The fare is typically around $2-3 per person. Once you are dropped off, the resort is just a short walk from the nearest bus stop along Rhine Road. Follow Rhine Road towards the ocean, and the resort will be on your left.
