If you are starting from the Banská Bystrica main train station (Hlavná stanica), exit the station and head to the left along the street. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Námestie SNP. Turn left onto Námestie SNP, and continue walking for another 400 meters. St Francis Xavier Cathedral will be on your right at Námestie SNP 27.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Banská Bystrica main bus station (Autobusová stanica), take bus number 5 or 6 towards 'Banská Bystrica - Námestie SNP'. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Námestie SNP' stop. From there, walk a short distance toward Námestie SNP 27, and you will find St Francis Xavier Cathedral.

If you are at the central square of Banská Bystrica (Hlavné námestie), head towards the north side of the square. Continue walking straight along the road until you reach Námestie SNP. Turn right on Námestie SNP and walk about 200 meters. The cathedral will be on your left at Námestie SNP 27.
