If you are starting from the Banská Bystrica Main Train Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right in front of the station. From there, walk straight down the Hlavná ulica street. Continue walking until you reach the main square, Námestie SNP. Once you arrive at the square, turn left onto Námestie Š. Moysesa. Walk for about 200 meters, and you will see Matej's house located at Námestie Š. Moysesa 20. The building is easily recognizable and is often highlighted on local maps.

To reach Matej's house from the Banská Bystrica Main Train Station using public transport, take the bus number 1 or 2 from the station's bus stop. Get off at the 'Námestie SNP' stop. From there, it's a short walk: head towards Námestie Š. Moysesa and walk approximately 200 meters. Matej's house (Museum) will be on your left at Námestie Š. Moysesa 20.
