Car
If you are driving, head towards the center of Bratislava. From the main road (D1), take the exit toward 'Bratislava - Centrum' and follow signs for the Old Town. Once you're in the Old Town area, look for signs directing you to 'Hrad' (Castle). There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park in a designated area and walk the rest of the way to Vienna Gate. Expect to pay around 1-2 EUR per hour for parking.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Vienna Gate using public transport, take bus number 39 or 80 from the nearest bus stop at 'Bratislava Hlavná Stanica' (Main Train Station). Alight at 'Sad Janka Kráľa' stop, then walk approximately 15 minutes through the picturesque streets of the Old Town towards Hrad. The bus ticket costs about 0.90 EUR and can be purchased at kiosks or via a mobile app.
Public Transportation - Tram
You can also use the tram system. Board tram number 4 or 5 from 'Bratislava Hlavná Stanica'. Get off at 'Zochova' stop and then walk about 10 minutes to reach the Vienna Gate. Tram tickets cost around 0.90 EUR and can be purchased at ticket machines or via a mobile app.
