Walking
If you are in the heart of Bratislava's Old Town, begin at the main square, Hlavné námestie. Head south towards the street called Michalská. Continue down this street until you reach the end where it intersects with the street Hurbanovo námestie. Turn left onto Hurbanovo námestie and continue straight. You will soon see a park on your right. Walk through the park until you reach Staromestská street. Bird bastion is located at Staromestská, 811 01 Staré Mesto, and is just a short walk from the park.

From the central train station (Hlavná stanica), take tram number 1 or 3 heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Špitálska' stop. From there, walk straight towards Karadžičova street and turn right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Staromestská street. Turn left onto Staromestská street and you will find Bird bastion on your right.

From the main bus station (Autobusová stanica), take bus number 61 towards the city center and get off at the 'Novum' stop. Walk towards the direction of the bus until you reach the intersection with Karadžičova street, then turn left. Continue straight until you reach Staromestská street. Turn right onto Staromestská and Bird bastion will be a short distance on your right.
