Getting there

Public Transport - Tram

If you are starting from the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Hlavná stanica' or 'Most SNP'. Take tram number 4 or 9 and ride towards 'Dúbravka'. Get off at the 'Slavín' stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From the tram stop, it’s a short walk to Slavín. Head up Pažického street, and you will see the memorial on your left.

Public Transport - Bus

You can also take bus number 39 from the 'Hlavná stanica' bus station. Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Slavín' bus stop. Once you exit, walk down Pažického street, and you will find Slavín shortly ahead.

Walking

If you are nearby, such as in the Old Town, you can walk to Slavín. Start from the Main Square (Hlavné námestie) and head southwest toward the Danube River. Cross the bridge at 'Most SNP' and follow the road uphill through the park. The walk is approximately 30 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.

Taxi or Rideshare

For convenience, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app. Simply enter 'Slavín, Pažického, 811 04 Staré Mesto' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the memorial, and the journey from the city center should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
