    Start at the Bratislava Main Train Station (Hlavná stanica). From there, take tram number 2 towards 'Karpatská' and get off at the 'Námestie SNP' stop. This journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you are at 'Námestie SNP', walk towards the direction of the 'Dóm sv. Martina' (St. Martin's Cathedral). Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Most SNP' (UFO Bridge). Cross the bridge and head towards the 'Kramáre' district. After crossing the bridge, take the tram number 4 or 9 from 'Most SNP' tram stop towards 'Hlavná stanica' and get off at 'Pionierska'. From here, walk up the hill to Slavín, following signs to the memorial. The walk will take around 15 minutes.

From the square, head towards the 'Slovenské národné divadlo' (Slovak National Theatre) and continue walking towards the 'Starý most' (Old Bridge). Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river until you reach the street 'Karpatská'. Turn right onto 'Karpatská' and continue walking uphill. Follow the signs for Slavín which will lead you to the memorial. The total walking distance is approximately 3 kilometers and should take around 40 minutes.
