Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bratislava Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down the hill towards the Old Town. Continue straight on the path until you reach the intersection at the bottom. Turn left onto the main road, which is Karadžičova. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Pažického Street. Turn right onto Pažického Street. Slavín will be on your left after a short walk.

    From Bratislava Castle, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Karadžičova Street. Take bus number 29 or 39 in the direction of 'Kramáre'. Get off at the 'Slavín' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the memorial. Note: You will need to purchase a public transportation ticket, which costs approximately €0.90 for a 15-minute ride. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks or vending machines.
