Getting There

Walking
From Bratislava Castle (Hrad), exit the castle grounds and head down the path towards the city center. You will want to follow the signs leading towards 'Staré Mesto' (Old Town). As you descend, keep right and continue straight until you reach the main road, Karadžičova. Turn left on Karadžičova and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Staromestská street. Turn right onto Staromestská, and you will soon see the Medieval City Walls on your left. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take tram number 1 or 5 from the nearest tram stop to the castle, which is 'Hrad'. Board the tram and travel to the 'Zochova' stop. From there, exit the tram and walk down towards Karadžičova street, then follow the same directions as above to reach Staromestská. Please note that a single ride ticket costs approximately €0.70, which you can purchase from ticket machines available at tram stops.
