Public Transport
From the city center (e.g., from the Main Square or Hlavné námestie), head to the nearest tram station, which is 'Zochova'. Take tram number 4 in the direction of 'Biskupická'. Stay on the tram for about 10 minutes, and get off at the stop 'Sad Janka Kráľa'. From there, you can either walk or take a bus. If you choose to walk, head east along the riverbank towards the Danube, then turn left and walk up to the memorial. The walk will take around 15 minutes.
Walking
If you are in the Old Town, start at the Slovak National Theatre. Walk towards the river, and follow the path along the Danube River. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the base of the hill leading to Slavín. From there, it will be a steep walk up for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass by beautiful views of the city.
Bus
From the city center, go to the 'Karadžičova' bus stop, which is located near the Old Town. Take bus number 33 towards 'Slavín'. This bus will take you directly to the foot of the memorial. The journey will take around 15 minutes. Once you get off, it is a short walk up the hill to reach the memorial.
