Walking
If you are in the Old Town area of Bratislava, you can easily walk to Vienna Gate. Start at the Main Square (Hlavné námestie). From there, head southeast towards the Bratislava City Museum located at the old Town Hall. Once you reach the square in front of the Town Hall, take a right onto Zámočnícka Street. Continue straight until you see the entrance to Bratislava Castle. Follow the path leading up to the castle, and as you reach the top, you will see the Vienna Gate on your left, right at the entrance of the castle grounds.

To reach Vienna Gate from the central bus station (Autobusová stanica), take tram line 2 towards 'Kramáre'. Get off at the 'Zochova' stop. From the tram stop, head north along Karadžičova Street. After about 5 minutes of walking, turn left onto Hradné schody (Castle Steps) which will lead you directly up to the Bratislava Castle. Continue walking up to the castle grounds, and the Vienna Gate will be located on your left as you enter.
