Walking
If you are in the central area of Petržalka, head towards the nearest tram stop. The closest stop is 'Petržalka' which is serviced by several tram lines. From the tram stop, walk east along the main road, taking a right onto Vlastenecké námestie. Continue straight for about 500 meters. The Taras Shevchenko Monument will be located on your left at Vlastenecké námestie 1251.
Public Transport - Tram
To reach the Taras Shevchenko Monument using public transport, find the nearest tram stop. Board tram line 4 or 6 and ride towards the 'Petržalka' stop. Once you get off at 'Petržalka', exit the tram and walk east along the main road. Take a right on Vlastenecké námestie and walk straight for about 500 meters. The monument will be on your left. A single tram ticket costs approximately €0.70 and can be purchased at ticket machines or from kiosks.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental services in Petržalka. Start from your rental location and head towards the main road. Follow the bike lanes that lead you to Vlastenecké námestie, making sure to keep to the right. The Taras Shevchenko Monument will be about 2 kilometers away. Remember to follow traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety.
