If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Dolina. Head east on the main road (Hlavná) towards Vysoké Tatry. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Tatranská Lomnica and the parking area near Dlhý vodopád. Look for signs indicating Dlhý vodopád. There is a parking fee of approximately €5 for the day, payable at the machine in the parking lot. Once parked, follow the marked hiking trail leading to Dlhý vodopád, which is about a 30-minute walk through the forest.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Dolina to Vysoké Tatry. Buses are available regularly, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Vysoké Tatry, head towards the Dlhý vodopád trailhead, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the waterfall. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, which is typically around €2.
