Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Dolina and head south towards the main road (Route 537). Continue on Route 537 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Vysoké Tatry. Once in Vysoké Tatry, follow the signs for 'Tatranská Lomnica'. After about 5 kilometers, you will find a parking area where you can leave your car. From the parking area, follow the hiking trail signs towards Great Cold Valley (Veľká Studená Dolina). The hike will take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours, and the trails are well-marked. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around €5 for a day.
