    Car

    If you're traveling by car from the center of Dolina, start by heading southwest on the main road (D1) towards Tatranská Lomnica. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the Tatranská Lomnica exit. Take the exit and follow the signs towards the High Tatras National Park. After approximately 5 km, you will see signs for The Silent Valley (Tichá dolina). Turn left onto the road leading into the valley. There is parking available near the entrance, but be aware that there might be a small parking fee, usually around €5 for the day.

    Public Transportation

    To reach The Silent Valley using public transportation, take a bus from Dolina to Tatranská Lomnica. The bus station is located near the center of Dolina. Buses run approximately every hour, and the fare is around €2-€3. Once you arrive in Tatranská Lomnica, transfer to a local shuttle bus that goes to the entry point of The Silent Valley. This shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes and costs about €1.50. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it may vary based on the season.

    If you prefer to walk from Tatranská Lomnica, it’s about a 5 km hike to The Silent Valley. After getting off the bus, head towards the marked hiking trail leading into the valley.
