Keep walking until you reach the large open square; this is Hlavné námestie.

From the Košice train station, you can take tram number 2 towards 'Mlynská'. Board the tram and travel for three stops, disembarking at the 'Hlavná' stop. From there, walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at Hlavné námestie, which will be visible as a large open space ahead.
