Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Martin, start at the main square (Námestie SNP). Head northeast on Karadžičova Street towards the intersection with J. M. Hurbana Street. Turn left on J. M. Hurbana and walk straight until you reach the intersection with V. Klementisa Street. Continue straight on V. Klementisa Street. After a few minutes, you will see signs directing you to the Museum of the Slovak Village (Múzeum slovenskej dediny) on your right. The entrance will be along the main path leading into the museum area.

    From the central bus station (Autobusová stanica Martin), take bus number 11 towards the direction of the Museum of the Slovak Village. Get off at the stop 'Múzeum slovenskej dediny'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance through the parking area, and you will see the entrance to the museum. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes.
