Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the center of Orava, head towards the town of Dolný Kubín. From Dolný Kubín, take the road E58 towards the direction of Námestovo. After approximately 24 km, you will reach the town of Námestovo. Continue on E58, and then take the exit toward Oravská priehrada. Follow the signs to Horná Lehota. Once in Horná Lehota, look for signs directing you to Plte Orava, located at the address 027 41 Horná Lehota. Parking is available near the site, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation

From the main bus station in Dolný Kubín, take bus number 201 towards Námestovo. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Horná Lehota stop. From there, you can walk approximately 1 km following the signs to Plte Orava. The walk should take about 15 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for any changes in departure times, as they may vary.

Taxi or Ridesharing
