Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Poprad's main train station (Poprad-Tatry), take a train towards Zakopane. The train journey is scenic and will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Zakopane train station, exit the station and walk towards the main street, Krupówki. The Tatra Museum is located at Krupówki 10, just a short walk from the station. Head south on Krupówki street, and you will find the museum on your left side.

• Bus

  From Poprad, you can catch a bus to Zakopane from the Poprad bus station. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Zakopane bus station, follow the signs to Krupówki street. Walk along Krupówki street heading south, and the Tatra Museum will be located at Krupówki 10 on your left side.

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Poprad, you can take a leisurely walk to the train station (Poprad-Tatry) which is about 20 minutes away. Once at the station, follow the public transport instructions to Zakopane. Alternatively, you can explore the local shops and cafes along the way.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Poprad to Zakopane. Taxis can be found in the city center or ordered via a local app. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and the driver will take you directly to Krupówki 10, where the Tatra Museum is located.
