From Tekov, get onto the main road heading towards the town of Žilina. Follow the signs for the E50 highway. Continue on the E50 for approximately 25 km until you reach the turn-off for Strečno. Take the exit toward Strečno and follow the signs leading into the village. Once in Strečno, follow Hradná street until you reach Castle Strečno. There is parking available near the castle, but it may incur a small fee.

From Tekov, take a bus to Žilina. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Tekov. Once you arrive at the Žilina bus station, transfer to a local bus heading toward Strečno.
