Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, from Žilina city center, take the road E50 towards Považská Bystrica. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward Lietava. Continue on the road until you reach the village of Lietava, where you will find signs indicating the castle. The castle is located at Lietava 614, 013 18 Lietava. Parking is available near the castle, but be aware that it may fill up during peak tourist seasons.

Public Transportation

To reach Castle Lietava by public transportation, start at the Žilina bus station. Take a bus heading towards Lietava. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and buses run regularly.
