From the center of Bled, head towards Lake Bled. You can start from the Bled Castle viewpoint which is located on a hill above the lake. Walk down towards the lake and you'll find the lakeside promenade. Follow the promenade to the left (west) until you reach the end of the path where you’ll see the pier for the traditional 'pletna' boats. The pier is clearly marked and is a popular spot for tourists.

At the pier, purchase a ticket for a pletna boat ride to Bled Island. The boats are operated by local rowers, and the ride typically takes about 20 minutes.
