  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Bled, start at the Bled Castle, which is a prominent landmark. From the castle, walk down towards the lake, following the signs to the lakeside promenade. Once you reach the promenade, turn right and continue walking along the lake until you reach the boat station at the west side of the lake. Here, you can purchase a ticket for a traditional Pletna boat that will take you directly to Bled Island.

    If you are near the Bled bus station, you can take a local bus to the Bled Lake area. After arriving at the bus stop, head towards the lake and follow the path to the boat station. There, you can catch a Pletna boat that will take you to Bled Island. Make sure to check the bus schedule to plan your trip accordingly.

  • Cycling

    If you have rented a bike, start at the Bled town center and head towards the lakeside. Follow the cycling path around the lake, which is well marked. Continue riding until you reach the boat station on the west side of Lake Bled. From there, you can park your bike and board a Pletna boat to Bled Island.
