Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Bled, head towards the Bled Bus Station located at Kolodvorska cesta 10. This is a short 10-minute walk. Once at the bus station, look for the bus that goes to Zgornje Gorje, which is the closest village to Soteska Vintgar. The bus journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Zgornje Gorje' stop. From there, walk along the main road towards Podhom, following the signs for Soteska Vintgar. The entrance to Vintgar Gorge is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. You will see signs directing you to the gorge along the way.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bled. Start from the center of Bled and head northeast towards the Bled Jezero (Lake Bled). Follow the path along the lake and continue towards the village of Zgornje Gorje. The total cycling distance is about 4 km, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes. When you reach Zgornje Gorje, follow the signs to Soteska Vintgar. The entrance to the gorge will be well-marked.
