Walking
Start your journey from the center of Bled, at the Bled Castle viewpoint. Head south on Cesta svobode (Freedom Road) towards the lake. Keep walking until you reach the lakeside promenade. Follow the promenade along the lake, enjoying the views of the island and castle. After approximately 1 km, you'll reach the end of the promenade near the boat rental area. Here, look for the signs directing you to the hiking trails. Take the path that leads towards the forest, marked with signs for Velika Osojnica.

Once you are on the trail, you'll begin ascending through the woods. The path is well-marked with signs. Continue on the trail for about 1.5 km, which will lead you uphill. The hike is moderate and may take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. As you hike, you will encounter beautiful views of Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains. Stay on the main path, and look for additional signs pointing to Velika Osojnica. When you reach a viewpoint, you will know you have arrived at Velika Osojnica, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views.
