Getting There

Bus
From Bohinj, head to the nearest bus station, which is located in the center of the village. Look for the bus that is heading towards Bled, usually marked with 'Bled' on the front. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Bled, exit the bus and walk towards the main road until you reach the intersection with Grajska cesta. Turn left onto Grajska cesta and continue walking for about 15 minutes. Bled Castle will be on your right, just follow the signs leading to it.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Bohinj. Follow the scenic route along Lake Bohinj towards the town of Bled. The route is well-marked and will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Bled, continue straight until you see Grajska cesta. Turn right onto Grajska cesta and bike uphill for about 10 minutes. Bled Castle will be visible from the road.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic hike from Bohinj to Bled. Start at the Bohinj lake promenade and follow the path towards the village of Bled. This journey takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Bled, navigate to Grajska cesta by heading towards the main road. Walk up Grajska cesta for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Bled Castle.
