From the center of Srednja vas v Bohinju, head north on the main road (Trg sv. Marije) towards the direction of Bohinjska Bistrica. After about 500 meters, look for the sign indicating the trailhead to Viševnik. The hiking trail begins at the edge of the village. Follow the well-marked path that leads you through the forest. The hike is moderate to strenuous and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Be prepared for steep sections and ensure you have suitable hiking gear. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful nature and look for signs directing you to the peak.
