Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. From Inner Carniola, take the H4 highway towards Ljubljana. Once you reach Ljubljana, follow the signs to the city center. Use the exit for 'Center' and continue onto Slovenska cesta. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Turjaška ulica. The National and University Library will be on your right at number 1. There is limited parking in the vicinity, and you may need to pay at parking meters or use nearby parking garages.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the National and University Library via public transport, take a bus from any major town in Inner Carniola to Ljubljana. Check the local bus schedules for routes heading to the Ljubljana bus station. Once you arrive at the bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. You can also take tram lines that operate from the bus station. Get off at the 'Kongresni trg' stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the library. Head east on Kongresni trg, then turn right onto Turjaška ulica. The library will be located at number 1. Bus and tram tickets are usually around €1.20, and you can purchase them at kiosks or directly from the driver.

• Taxi/Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct method, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app. Simply input 'National and University Library, Turjaška ulica 1, Ljubljana' as your destination. This option is especially convenient if you are traveling with luggage or in a group. The fare will vary depending on your starting point in Inner Carniola but expect to pay around €30-€50 for a ride from the surrounding areas to Ljubljana.
