Getting There

Public Bus
From Koper city center, head to the main bus station located on Drevored 1. Look for a bus heading towards 'Rovinj' or 'Pula', as these will stop near Kanfanar. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kanfanar bus stop, exit the bus and head towards the main road. The Dvigrad ruins are about a 25-minute walk from the bus stop.

Walking
If you are already in Koper and prefer to walk, head to the coastal promenade and follow it until you reach the main road leading out of Koper. After about 2.5 km, turn left at the roundabout towards Kanfanar. Continue walking for another 8 km along the road until you reach the Dvigrad ruins. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated during the walk, as it can take around 2 hours.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Koper. Once you have your bike, head towards the coastal road and follow the signs towards Kanfanar. The ride is approximately 10 km and should take about 40-50 minutes. Upon reaching the Kanfanar area, follow the signs to the Dvigrad ruins, which will be a short ride from the main road.
