Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Kranjska Gora Tourist Information Center located at the main square (Trg pred Zelenim Ploščad). From there, head east on Planica Street (Planica ulica) for about 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the main road (Cesta na Brdo) and walk straight for about 600 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach a sign indicating 'Podbreg'. Turn left onto Podbreg Street and follow it for about 200 meters. The Statue of Kekec will be on your right in a small park area.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer using public transport, you can take the local bus from the main bus station in Kranjska Gora. Look for the bus heading towards Podbreg. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Podbreg' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 100 meters down Podbreg Street, and the Statue of Kekec will be visible on your left in a small green space.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kranjska Gora. Start at the rental shop and head towards the main square. From the square, take Planica Street (Planica ulica) towards the roundabout. Continue on Cesta na Brdo and follow the same route as the walking directions for about 1 kilometer until you reach Podbreg Street. Turn left onto Podbreg, and the Statue of Kekec will be on your right after about 200 meters.
