Walking

From the center of Portorož, head towards the main road, which is the coastal promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus stop named 'Portorož'. From there, look for buses heading towards Piran or Motovun, as these will take you towards the direction of Motovun. Get off at the nearest stop to Motovun, which is usually at the entrance of the town. Once you arrive in Motovun, follow the signs leading to the town center, which is uphill. You will see Ul. Joakima Rakovca on your way. The Town Gate is located at Ul. Joakima Rakovca 3.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Portorož. Start by heading towards the main road and follow the cycling paths that lead to Piran. From Piran, continue to follow the signs for Motovun. The route is scenic and takes you through beautiful countryside. Upon reaching Motovun, park your bicycle and walk towards the town center, where you will find Ul. Joakima Rakovca 3 and the Town Gate.

To reach Motovun from Portorož via public transport, first, find the nearest bus station. Take a bus that heads towards Piran or directly to Motovun if available.
