If you are starting from Ljubljana's main train station (Železniška postaja), exit the station and head southeast on Trg Osvobodilne fronte. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at Slovenska cesta. Take the second exit onto Slovenska cesta, continuing straight for about 500 meters. When you reach the Prešernov trg square, you will see Hauptmann House at Prešernov trg 1 on your right, just opposite the Franciscan Church.
