If you are driving, head towards Ljubljana using the A1 motorway. Once you reach Ljubljana, follow signs for the city center. Park your vehicle at one of the nearby parking garages, such as the City Park Garage or the Tivoli Park Garage. After parking, walk towards Mestni trg, which is located approximately 10-15 minutes on foot from either parking location. Head east on Trg Prekomorskih Brigad, then turn left onto Šubičeva ulica, which will lead you directly to Mestni trg.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Ljubljana Central Station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From the station, you can either walk to Mestni trg, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take tram line 1 or 3 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Prešernov trg' stop, and from there, it's a short walk to Mestni trg. Follow the signs towards the old town, and you will find Mestni trg easily.

If you are already in the vicinity of Ljubljana, walking to Mestni trg is a great option. Start from the Ljubljana Castle and walk down the hill towards the city center.
