Bus
From Ljubljana city center, head to the main bus station located at Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana. You can walk there from most central locations, or take tram line 2 or 3 to the 'Avtobusna postaja' stop. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Idrija. Buses to Idrija are operated by various companies, so check the schedule for the next available departure. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Idrija bus station, it's a 10-minute walk to TIC Idrija. Exit the bus station, turn left onto Gregorčičeva ulica, and follow it until you reach Prelovčeva ulica. Turn right onto Prelovčeva ulica, and you will find TIC Idrija at number 5.
Train and Bus
From Ljubljana, take a train from Ljubljana Railway Station to the closest train station to Idrija, which is in the town of Most na Soči. Trains depart regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Most na Soči, exit the train station and look for the bus stop nearby. Take the bus heading to Idrija; the bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the Idrija bus station, it's a 10-minute walk to TIC Idrija. Exit the bus station, turn left onto Gregorčičeva ulica, and follow it until you reach Prelovčeva ulica. Turn right onto Prelovčeva ulica, and you will find TIC Idrija at number 5.
Walking
If you are already in Idrija, you can reach TIC Idrija by walking. Start from the main square, Mestni trg, and head west on Gregorčičeva ulica. Continue straight until you reach Prelovčeva ulica. Turn right onto Prelovčeva ulica, and you will find TIC Idrija at number 5. The walk should take around 10 to 15 minutes.
