Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the central area, walk towards Prešeren Square. From Prešeren Square, head towards the Triple Bridges (Tromostovje). Cross the bridges and continue straight onto Wolfova Street. Follow Wolfova Street until you reach the intersection with Miklošičeva Street. Turn right onto Miklošičeva and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Vilharjeva Street. Continue for about 500 meters until you see the signs for Narodni muzej Slovenije. The museum is located at Muzejska ulica 1, which is just off Vilharjeva Street.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. Look for bus numbers 2, 6, or 8, which frequently stop near the museum. Board the bus and get off at the 'Muzejska' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the museum entrance, which is located at Muzejska ulica 1. Follow the signs to the museum.

• Cycling

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Ljubljana. Start from the city center and head towards the Tivoli Park area. Follow the cycling paths until you reach the area close to the museum. The museum is easily accessible from the bike paths, and there are bike racks available for parking your bicycle at Muzejska ulica 1.
