Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Maribor Pohorje. Head southeast on the main road towards Limbuš. Follow the signs for Limbuš and continue driving for approximately 10-15 minutes. You will cross a bridge over the Drava River. After the bridge, turn left onto the road leading to Mariborsko jezero. Follow this road for about 5 minutes until you reach the lake. There is parking available near the lake.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the local bus from Maribor Pohorje to Limbuš. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. Check the local timetable for exact times. Once you arrive in Limbuš, disembark at the 'Limbuš' bus stop. From there, it is a 20-minute walk to Mariborsko jezero. Head southeast on the main road, then turn left onto the road leading to the lake. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk includes some gentle inclines.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Maribor Pohorje and follow the bike paths leading to Limbuš. The route is about 8 km and takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Limbuš, follow the signs to Mariborsko jezero, which is a short ride away. Ensure you have a bike lock and plan for parking your bicycle upon arrival.
