Getting There

Walking
Start from the main square in Maribor, known as Glavni trg. From there, head towards the northeast corner of the square where you will find the street called Slovenska ulica. Walk along Slovenska ulica until you reach the intersection with the street called Trg Svobode. Turn left onto Trg Svobode and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will see a small park on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach the bridge over the Drava River. Cross the bridge and follow the road that leads uphill towards the castle.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the main bus station in Maribor, take bus number 6 towards Grad. The bus will take you directly to the Grad area. Once you arrive at the bus stop, exit the bus and follow the signs leading to Grad Castle. It's a short walk of about 10 minutes uphill from the bus stop to the castle.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Maribor. Start at the city center and head towards the Drava River bike path. Follow the path along the river until you reach the area of Grad. You will find signage directing you to Grad Castle. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
