From the A2 autobahn (Süd Autobahn), take the exit towards Riegersburg. Follow the signs towards Riegersburg. As you approach the town, the castle will be visible atop the volcanic rock. Parking is available at the base of the castle lift. Parking costs approximately €3 per hour, or €12 per day. From the parking area, you can walk up to the castle entrance or take the funicular.

From Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a train towards Feldbach. Get off at Feldbach Bahnhof and transfer to the RegioBus 406 heading towards Riegersburg. Get off at the Riegersburg Burglift stop. From there, you can walk up to the castle entrance or take the funicular. A single bus fare from Feldbach to Riegersburg is approximately €4. The funicular costs €3.50 per person one way or €6 per person for a round trip.

If you are already in the town of Riegersburg, the castle is easily accessible on foot. From the town center, follow the signs towards the castle. The path is steep and winding. Allow approximately 20-30 minutes to walk from the town center to the castle entrance.
