    If you are in the center of Maribor, start by heading to the nearest bus station (Avtobusna postaja Maribor). From there, take a bus towards Malečnik. You can use Bus Line 6 towards Malečnik. The bus fare is approximately €1.50, which you can purchase from the driver or at the bus station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Malečnik stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Drava river side. Follow the signs for 'Drava' and head southeast on the path that leads directly to the riverbank. The walk from the bus stop to the river should take about 10-15 minutes.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Maribor. After renting, head towards the Drava river path. Follow the bicycle routes marked in green signs towards Malečnik. It’s approximately a 6 km ride, which should take around 25-30 minutes. Once you reach Malečnik, you can find the entrance to the Drava river side along the riverbank.

    Alternatively, you can take a tram from the center of Maribor to the nearest tram station that connects to Malečnik. The tram fare is also around €1.50.
