Getting There

Walking
From Tabor, head east on Tabor Street (Taborjeva ulica) towards the center of Maribor. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Ulica heroja Šlandra. Turn left onto Ulica heroja Šlandra and follow it until you reach the main road, Slovenska ulica. Turn right and walk along Slovenska ulica for about 200 meters until you see Grajska ulica on your left. Turn onto Grajska ulica and continue walking for about 300 meters. Maribor Castle will be on your right at Grajska ulica 2. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20 to 25 minutes.

From any point in Tabor, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is generally located on Taborjeva ulica. Look for buses that head towards the city center (Centar). You can take bus numbers 2 or 6. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Disembark at the 'Glavni trg' stop. From there, walk towards Grajska ulica (about 600 meters). Head northeast on Glavni trg, then turn left onto Grajska ulica. Maribor Castle will be on your left at Grajska ulica 2. The bus ticket costs around €1.20.
