Start from the main square in Nova Gorica, Trg Edvarda Kardelja. Head south towards the Nova Gorica train station. From the station, continue walking down the main road, Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev, for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ulica Goriške Brigade. Turn right onto Ulica Goriške Brigade and walk for another 700 meters. You will see a sign for Barje Park. Continue straight for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at Barje, a beautiful park area where you can enjoy nature and unwind.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start at the main square, Trg Edvarda Kardelja, and head towards the Nova Gorica train station. From there, take the bike path along Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev for approximately 1.2 kilometers. At the intersection with Ulica Goriške Brigade, turn right and continue cycling for about 700 meters. Look for the signs directing you to Barje Park. Follow the path straight for another 300 meters, and you will reach your destination at Barje.

To reach Barje using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop from the city center, such as the one at Trg Edvarda Kardelja. Take bus number 5 towards Selo. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Barje stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk of about 200 meters to the entrance of Barje Park.
