Start at the Nova Gorica train station. Exit the station and head north towards the main square. Walk straight through the square, passing by the shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the crossroads at the roundabout. Take the first exit to the right onto Gregorčičeva Street. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Prešernova Street. Turn left onto Prešernova Street and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will reach the border crossing into Italy. Cross the border and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the town of Gorizia. Once in Gorizia, follow the signs to Via Roma. The Chiesa parrocchiale di San Francesco - Branco is located at Via Roma, 2, which is approximately 500 meters from the border crossing.

From the main bus station in Nova Gorica, take the bus that heads towards Gorizia. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule upon arrival. The journey to Gorizia will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gorizia bus station, exit the station and walk straight towards the city center. Follow the signs to Via Roma, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
