From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the central bus station located at Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev 5. Once there, take a bus heading towards the town of Ajdovščina. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departures. After approximately 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the stop for 'Nomenj'. From the bus stop, walk towards the main road (Ulica Nomenj) and follow it. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at Slap Grmečica, a beautiful nature preserve.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nova Gorica. Head out of the city center towards Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Follow the bike path that leads out of the town, keeping to the right as you approach the outskirts. Continue on the road towards Nomenj for about 8 kilometers. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Nomenj, look for signs directing you to Slap Grmečica, which is located about 1 kilometer from the main road.
