Walking
Start at the main square in Nova Gorica, Trg Edvarda Kardelja. From the square, head east on Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Ulica Gregorčičeva. Turn left onto Ulica Gregorčičeva and walk until you reach the bus station, Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica. From the bus station, take the bus line towards Solkan. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Solkan' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the riverbank, and you will see the Solkan Bridge ahead. Follow the path along the river to get a closer view of the bridge.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nova Gorica. Start your journey from the center of Nova Gorica and head east towards the river. Follow the cycling path that runs parallel to the Soča River. This scenic route will lead you directly to Solkan. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed. Keep an eye out for signage indicating the direction to Solkan. As you approach Solkan, you will see the iconic Solkan Bridge rising above the river.

Public Transport (Bus)
Begin at the Nova Gorica bus station, located near the city center. Look for the bus schedules and take a bus heading towards Solkan. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Solkan' stop. After disembarking, walk towards the river, and the Solkan Bridge will be visible from there. Follow the signs or the river path to get to the base of the bridge.
