    Getting There

    Bus

    From the center of Nova Gorica, make your way to the main bus station located at Gregorčičeva ulica 1. Board bus number 7 towards Izola. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Izola bus station, exit the bus and head towards the waterfront. Walk straight along the waterfront promenade (Sončno Nabrežje) for about 10 minutes until you reach Sončno Nabrežje 4, where you will find the Tourist Information Center.

    Train and Bus

    Start at the Nova Gorica train station. Take a train towards Koper, and get off at Koper train station. From Koper, walk to the Koper bus station which is about a 10-minute walk. From there, catch a bus to Izola. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Izola bus station, head towards the waterfront promenade (Sončno Nabrežje) and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sončno Nabrežje 4.

    Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk to Izola from Nova Gorica. Start by heading to the Goriška cesta road and follow it towards the seaside. It is a long trek of about 20 kilometers, so it is advisable to start early in the day. Once you approach Izola, follow the signs to the waterfront and continue walking along the promenade (Sončno Nabrežje) until you reach Sončno Nabrežje 4.
