Walking
If you are in the center of Nova Gorica, head towards the main pedestrian street, Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the main road, Hlavna ulica. Turn right and continue walking until you reach the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica). From there, you can take a bus to Trieste. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Trieste, follow the signs to the city center.
Bus
From the central bus station in Nova Gorica, take a bus towards Trieste. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and walk towards the main square, Piazza della Libertà. From there, head towards Via San Nicolò and follow signs to Piazza della Borsa. It’s a short 10-minute walk from the bus station.
Train
Although Nova Gorica doesn't have a direct train to Trieste, you can take a train to the nearest station, Gorizia. From Nova Gorica train station, board a train to Gorizia. Once you arrive at Gorizia, walk to the Gorizia train station and take a regional train towards Trieste. When you arrive in Trieste, follow the signs to the city center, and then navigate to Piazza della Borsa, which is about a 15-minute walk.
