Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the central Tartini Square in Piran. From the square, head towards the seafront and take the path leading to the right along the promenade (Obala). Continue walking along the shoreline until you reach the end of the promenade. Once there, turn left and walk up the hill towards the Church of St. George, which will be visible. After visiting the church, continue walking up the street past the church and look for signs directing you to the city walls. Follow the signs to the top of the hill, where you will find the ancient columns of San Giusto. The site is located near the Cathedral of San Giusto in Trieste, Italy, so be prepared for a longer walk as it is not in Piran but in a nearby city.

    From Piran, walk to the nearest bus station located at the main road. Take a bus heading towards Trieste. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
